Why Volunteer With OASIS?
OASIS strives to improve the lives of children that need basic necessities such as clothing, shoes, and hygiene items. Some children go without these things, and that's where OASIS and you can step in. We need passionate volunteers to:
Organize clothing or hygiene item drives
Launder donations to put on the shelves
If you prefer a more hands-on activity, you can join our volunteer leaders at our Tampa Palms, East Tampa, or Brandon sites to:
Sort and inventory donations
Restock shelves
Organize the sites for social worker visits

OASIS Opportunities has 5 locations where you can volunteer! Our four School Social Worker shopping sites and warehouse are located at:
Liberty Middle School (Tampa Palms/New Tampa)
Lockhart Elementary School (East Tampa)
McLane Middle School (Brandon)
Gary Adult High School (East Tampa)
The 5th location is right in your home! We are always looking for volunteers to help us launder the donations we receive so they are in ready-to-wear condition when students receive them.

Calling All High School Students!
OASIS is recruiting volunteers to organize CLOTHING DRIVES and wash LAUNDRY. Volunteering with OASIS can count towards your Bright Futures Scholarship service hours! It also looks great on resumes and college applications.
We ask that you give us 24-hours notice of when and where you’d like to pick-up and drop-off laundry, and let us know how many loads you’d like!
1 Load of Laundry = 1 Service Hour
How to Host a Collection Drive
First, check with your school guidance counselor to get all of the necessary Bright Futures or other service hour forms. Second, download the file below which includes detailed procedures describing how to conduct a collection drive . Finally, contact us at info@oasisopportunities.org to let us know you are ready to get started collecting donations. Questions?
